Founding Shark & Creative Director Andy grew up in Maryland, and after high school, spent two years in Italy as a volunteer missionary for his church. He then ended up in North Carolina, where he made the best decision of his life and married Deborah (way back in the 1900s), and they now have four married children and a bunch of grandkids. He is endlessly curious, enjoys gardening and beekeeping, reading and music, woodworking and cooking, and never needs to be coerced to watch a movie. |

Video Director & Editor Jonathan inherited his dad’s love of movies, storytelling, and making things—along with, apparently, enough of his questionable judgment to go into business with him. He and his wife, Jasmine, have three kids, a visually impaired goat named Stevie and his sister (whose name is Stevie’s Sister), and a small army of chickens and quails. When he’s not directing or editing videos, he enjoys TV time, video games, 3D printing, and especially spending time with his family. |

Writer Pete prolifically paints and plays with words when he’s not explosively creative whilst collaboratively writing and brainstorming at Barking Shark World Headquarters. Besides that he is mostly dull. |

Hat Designer Polly is a fashion icon and whimsical lover of millinery. Polly is the only member of our team to have grown up in a refrigeration cellar underneath the Beer Can House, a kitschy, historic roadside attraction in Houston. Because she spent her formative years surrounded by beer, jackanapes, giant fiberglass dinosaurs, and bumper stickers intended for roadside tourists, Polly is often drunk but accessible to us on short notice to design visually stimulating hats, typically starting from breathable trucker hat designs made with nylon mesh paneling. Every hat is built from that template to match the exact vision of our creative team. |
